We originally planned to launch this blog at the start of the year but with
the brisk business that quickly followed the launch of our
organic beers, we found our time was taken up with marketing
and dealing with all the enquiries we received. So we rescheduled the blog for Aug 2011
but then a seemingly endless round of Beer Expos and Trade Fairs pushed the
blog launch even further down our rapidly lengthening Things To Do list.

Oh well, the best laid plans and all that, but we’re certainly up and
running now. We hope you’ll visit us regularly for the latest news and
stories about all the ecologically responsible quality products and services
we can find (you can submit your articles too), as well as fresh news about Daas and our beers.

The blog’s name ‘The Pure Indulgence’ is close to being its mission
statement. Increasingly we see that the values of luxury and ecology no
longer have to be in conflict as, unfortunately, is too often the case. And
so, if like us, you are an environmentally responsible consumer, maybe we
can discover together a new world where quality and economy, and luxury and
ecology, are not necessarily contradictions.
